The Hoolox were an ape-like warrior race. They were one of the races along with the Nin, and the simiarly warlike corocdile-like Sraal, were duped into beleiving that they have rightfully bought the Earth.
The situation occurred when the galactic real estate agent, Fliant Wormbleeder, lost his personal device which was then fond and unknowingly used by the human boy Robbie. (COMIC: The Day the Earth Was Sold)
