Early life[]
Hobo had alopecia. When his alopecia began, he had nightmares about his hair falling out, waking up with hair on his pillow. (PROSE: Curse of the Mirror Clowns)
Hobo used to play with Greg Morton, until he and his family moved to Monknash. The two remained in contact. (PROSE: The Midnight People)
With Lucy Wilson[]
When Lucy Wilson joined his school after moving from London near the end of 2017, Hobo made friends with her very quickly, with both of them being outsiders. The two of them travelled to London to an event celebrating the life of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. The event was a trap by the Great Intelligence. Hobo was able to help Lucy defeat the entity alongside Dame Anne Bishop. (PROSE: Avatars of the Intelligence)
Lucy and Hobo travelled to Monknash to investigate the strange behaviour of its inhabitants. They discovered the behaviour was caused by the influence of Cylene, an alien matriarch. After stopping Cylene's sister, Sorene, from stranding her on the planet, Cylene was able to return home. (PROSE: The Midnight People)
James Lethbridge-Stewart had memories of meeting Lucy and Hobo in Bledoe when he and Alistair were children. He recalled that Hobo possessed more knowledge about them than was possible. (PROSE: Night of the Intelligence) These events transpired in May 2018 when Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart astral projected from 2011 and temporarily inhabited Hobo's body, and he and Lucy travelled back to 1937 to have an adventure with the Bledoe Cadets, including James and the young Alistair. During that adventure, a photograph of Hobo, Lucy, Alistair and James was taken, and the photo eventually fell into the possession of the adult Alistair, who kept him up until his death in 2011. Later life[]
According to one account, Hobo and Lucy eventually ended up as the last two rebellious survivors of humanity in a ruined London at "the end of the world", who were being hunted by the government while the Sun slowly imploded overhead. (PROSE: Assessment Day)
However, according to another account, Hobo apparently died by drowning in a lake. (PROSE: Gone)
