In medieval English mythology, Herne the Hunter was a demonic hunter. He chased lost souls through the night to their death.
Centuries after the legend had faded, a real-life version of Herne was created as a biomechanoid by the Sentinels of the New Dawn. He chased Osbert, the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown into a cave. (AUDIO: Leviathan)
