Herbert Asquith

Herbert Henry Asquith was a Liberal British politician who lived during the 19th and 20th centuries.

He was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1908 to 1916. (AUDIO: The Suffering, PROSE: Birthright)

After the death of King Edward VII in 1910, Asquith and Winston Churchill of the Liberal government passed socially conscious legislation and David Lloyd George's budget advocated for the redistribution of wealth.
