The Herazi were a species that resembled bipedal warthogs. They were involved in an intergalactic reality show, where the main race would invade a different planet every episode. They joined the show in its seventh season, after killing off the past species that ran it. However, they did not know that the previous species had also been part of the show, and thought it had only run for as long as they had been on it, 3 seasons.
Due to the Herazi‘s reputation of being a peaceful species, and their desire to be taken more seriously, they created a entirely new species to disguise themselves as, when they were on the show; the Zaross.
In 2007, they ‘invaded’ Norwich, as part of filming of a new episode for the show. Jackie Tyler was there at the time, and so called Rose and the Doctor to help. (AUDIO: Infamy of the Zaross)
