Hazel Bright was part of the World Ecology Bureau. She wanted the Eighth Doctor to investigate Alex Marlowe. She knew about the Krynoids and told the Doctor about Colin Thackeray's orders relating to them. She saw the Krynoid hybrids, and was disgusted by them. She was also a member of the League of Nature and worked for Marlowe. She was infected by the Krynoid, but managed to retain control enough to help the Doctor destroy them, and herself.
