The frozen Haxeen were a species of aluminium-based lifeforms. They were multi-dimensional, able to slip in and out of the Time Vortex with the ease of a TARDIS. They pursued the Stena "from planet to moon to asteroid" because of their unique quantum signature, which matched the binary energy the Haxeen fed on. (COMIC: Virtually Indestructible)
