Graham Norton was an Irish comedian and news presenter.

Biography[]

2005 incident[]

Norton appeared on a radio broadcast on 5 March 2005, the day before the Dummy Massacre. (PROSE: Rose [+]Russell T Davies, adapted from Rose (Russell T Davies), Target novelisations (Target Books, 2018).) In the aftermath, there were supposed reports of "millions" of people hearing a "strange disembodied voice" prior to the incident, with the webmaster of Who is Doctor Who? asking his readers to send in their stories. Markusdragon recalled hearing a distinctly Irish voice. Sarah and kenickie were both pleased to know they were not the only ones to have heard the voice, as many others had not and they believed they were going mad. Later life[]

While the Eleventh Doctor was trying to drop off Dermot O'Leary at the National Television Awards in 2011, he accidentally overshot by a year. They saw Graham on the viewscreen. He was preparing to present the news, but was confused by the sudden arrival of the TARDIS in his studio. (TV: Dermot and the Doctor)

He would late be part of a Christmas party with the Twelfth Doctor that aimed to lift the spirits of the unloved Sprout Boy. (TV: Sprout Boy meets a Galaxy of Stars)

He was mistakenly contacted by Eddie Redmayne who was in search of Pudsey. He was unaware of Pudsey's location. (TV: Looking for Pudsey)
