Graham Crowden (30 November 1922-19 October 2010[1]) played Soldeed in the Doctor Who television story The Horns of Nimon.
He is well known for playing Dr J. G. "Jock" McCannon in the BBC comedy-drama series A Very Peculiar Practice, starring alongside Peter Davison, David Troughton, Barbara Flynn and Joanna Kanska. He is also known for playing Tom Ballard on the BBC sitcom Waiting for God from 1990-94.
He was the father of Sarah Crowden and was a contender for the part of the Fourth Doctor.[2]
