Gods were beings of immense power from the mythology of many species. The powers, abilities and appearances of the gods varied from culture to culture. Some considered Transcendental Beings to be true gods, due to their power.

The Doctor claimed that he didn't believe in any specific god, but had met a number of beings claiming to be gods. (DW: The Satan Pit) However, at one point the Doctor offered a silent prayer to 'the gods of his own people'. (PDA: The Murder Game)

Human gods

The Humans of Earth and the colonies had many gods from their various cultures. Most, if not all, of these gods were revealed to be aliens or other advanced beings.

Other Gods and Goddesses

Many other races have had gods of some kind, many of them living beings.
