Georgia (state)
You may be looking for the country.

Georgia was an American state characterised by its humidity in the summer. The Eighth Doctor once experienced a simulacrum of Camp Toccoa that was so realistic he could detect the heaviness of the Georgia air. Though he was only there, training with the 101st Airborne for a few minutes, he was able to notice Mount Currahee rising in the distance. (PROSE: Fear Itself [+]Nick Wallace, BBC Past Doctor Adventures (BBC Books, 2005).)

Behind the scenes[]

Patrick Troughton died in Columbus, Georgia.[1] He was there as a guest at a fan convention on the weekend of 27, 28 & 29 March 1987. He was in good spirits throughout the panels on the 27th and looked forward to a belated birthday celebration which was planned for the following day. Troughton sadly suffered a heart attack at 7:25 AM the next day (the 28th) just after he had ordered his breakfast from the hotel staff. According to the paramedics who arrived on the scene, Troughton had died instantly. He was 67.
