Geoff Sinton was the husband of Linda Sinton and the father of Stuart and Richard Sinton. He lived in London with his family, and in 1974, he met the Fourth Doctor and Harry Sullivan whilst walking to the pub. He allowed them to stay at his home whilst they made contact with an alien war marshal called Kathnor, who was holding the Doctor's other friend hostage. He was bewildered by the whole situation.
