Gelshin was a bloodsman and part of Ikalla's crew. He assisted the Eighth and Tenth Doctor in their plans. He was appalled by what the Dalek Prime Strategist and the Scientist Dalek were doing to a Great Vampire in their attempts to create the Dalek Symbiont.
