Gadamare was king of the Metanni. He fathered Miral with a Greek woman of whom he fell in love with. He lost a war to Pharaoh Amenhotep II, and sent his servant, Terek, to present Amenhotep with Princess Miral as a peace offering.
He was thought of as a weak king. His daughter preyed on this when she offered his armies to help Amenhotep fight the Nubians.
When Gadamare staged an uprising against the Egyptians, he was slain by Amenhotep. (PROSE: The Coming of the Queen)
