Frank Cox directed the Doctor Who episodes "The Brink of Disaster," "Kidnap," and "A Desperate Venture."
Doctor Who was Cox's directing debut, after which he helmed episodes of The Revenue Men, The First Lady, The Troubleshooters, Doomwatch, Paul Temple, Warship, Softly, Softly: Taskforce and Eastenders. He also produced episodes of Sutherland's Law and C.A.T.S. Eye.
He was married to Bridget Turner, who played Alice Cassini in the Doctor Who television story Gridlock.
