Mother Francesca was a member of Faction Paradox who served as an ambassador to King George III in 1774. She and her companion were some of the few survivors of the War in Heaven. The publisher's summary for Creatures of Habit teased that Mother Francesca would be having a colourful-yet-civilised discussion with a prostitute in a bar. However, the Faction Paradox comic was cancelled before Creatures of Habit was released.
