Frances Barber (born 13 May 1957[1]) played Madame Kovarian throughout the sixth series of Doctor Who, and reprised this role in The Diary of River Song: Series Three.
She also read some AudioGo audio adventures, including Snake Bite and Shroud of Sorrow, and contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.
In 2016, she read the short story The Gift for The Fan Show.
She was interviewed on the Doctor Who Confidential episode The Born Identity and the documentary The Doctors Revisited - The Eleventh Doctor, as well as contributing to The Wedding of River Song's audio commentary.
