Foster was a miner on XB93. She was in a sleep machine where she encountered Daleks. They didn't want to exterminate her as she was important but made her fears real. She was in love with Jez and was upset when he was exterminated. She stopped resisting the Daleks after this. Tegan Jovanka was suspicious of how she escaped from the Daleks.
