If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.
I'm not sure if this is the place to write about this type of thing, but it's the only avenue that seemed appropriate. I've been consistently editing on this wiki daily for the past two months at least (one look through my contributions history will prove this to be true). But for no apparent reason, my progress on the Key on the Brigadier's Blotter badge (awarded for 100 days of consistent editing) has been reset back to 1. Is there anything that can be done about this, or am I completely out of luck?

- This actually isn't the place for this type of thing; asking an admin on their talk page is the best place for this type of question. I can give you a likely answer: the date/calendar is based on GMT. Sometimes users edit what to them is on different days, but it's still the same day in GMT. When the streak is broken, it resets to 1. It does not, however, as one admin once told a user, give you the same points that you've already earned.
- In the future, questions about badges, technical issues, or the like should be brought to an admin's talk page. These forums are for discussiong potential changes in policy or issues with article pages. Shambala108 ☎ 01:43, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
- Shambala, you are wrong about this. As seen at Forum:The Old Workshops, that Forum Board's description is literally as a place for this type of question:
Here on the Wiki, the Old Workshops are where we discuss the technical aspects of maintaining this place we call home. Got an idea for a new template? See a problem that you think needs reporting? (…) This is where you come to connect with our tech admins (…) about matters which will only interest much less than 10% of our userbase. But that doesn't make this pursuit any less important: 100%, of course, benefit from the good work we take care of together here. (…) This is also where admins will post announcements specifically to do with technical features or known issues produced by bugs that we might need more data on... or, in fact, to let the community know that things will be alright.
- Also, please use {{archive}} if you try to archive a Forum thread, not the talk page archiving tool. --Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 10:40, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
