Looking at the few articles we have on Target novelisations, and seeing how scant the info on them is, would it be better to simply include this information in the articles for the original TV stories on which they're based? It seems the only individual Target books that warrant their own article pages are the spinoff novels ("Harry Sullivan's War," "K9 and the Zeta Rescue," "Turlough and the Earthlink Dilemma"), and "The Nightmare Fair" and others not based on a transmitted story. --Freethinker1of1 21:23, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that would probably be for the best. Azes13 21:44, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I agree. Eventually, I think it would be good to include a section in the TV story pages that detailed any differences etc between the novelisation and the original TV story. Perhaps we could have a more general article on the novelisations giving an overview of the books?

Archivist's notes[]

Though this looks like a policy proposal that succeeded, current policy is completely opposed to this notion. We have separate articles on the individual novels, and the section Mantrid was talking about that compared the TV story to the novel is now actually on the novel page. So, nothing in this thread is the way things actually are.
