Proposal
Hello. I think it could be practical to indicate next to a sentence saying a person was born on "Year (people)" pages if that person is deceased or not, so that people can see how many and which of the listed people are deceased without having to go on each person's page one after the other. For example: † or († death date). If this is accepted, I wouldn't mind doing it if you don't want to. Spectritus ☎ 17:11, 1 March 2025 (UTC)

Conclusion
I am ruling against this proposal. Aside from the lack of interest, this is the kind of thing that needs regular attention (there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people involved with DW and, unfortunately, people die every day), and it is the kind of thing that we informally decided long ago that we would not try to keep up with. The work and diligence involved would be too much.
And as a side note, these forums use the same coding and format (if those are the correct terms) as the articles on the wiki. It is not possible to send a notice to other users by placing a "@" in front of their user name. If you want to get in touch with someone, use their talk page. And please see Tardis:Administrators for a list of who the administrators are on the wiki, as only the admins have been given the authority to close forum threads. Hello. I can keep it up to date. I don't mind. As I make lists such as the oldest living people associated with the Whoniverse, it would be very practical for me to see the death dates and ages directly on the Year (people) pages so I don't need to go on each person's articles one by one. And I am sure it would benefit others too. Spectritus ☎ 9:43, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I am closing this forum post with a ruling against the proposal. Sorry for the confusion. Shambala108 ☎ 13:34, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
