Fitzroy Square was a place in London where the First Doctor and Dodo Chaplet landed in July 1966. Because police boxes were commonplace at the time, the Doctor took the additional precaution of hanging an "out of order" sign on the TARDIS whilst the duo explored the mystery of WOTAN. (TV: The War Machines) Later, before Ben Jackson exited the TARDIS after his first journey through time, he made a bet with the Doctor that they had returned to Fitzroy Square in 1966. He lost the bet, because the TARDIS had instead landed in 17th century Cornwall. (TV: The Smugglers)
