The Auton Invasion was the ninth skit included amongst the interviews within 30 Years in the TARDIS, and later More than 30 Years in the TARDIS. It was, like several others, a fourth-wall-breaking parody.
Synopsis[]
After finishing to host a documentary about Doctor Who, Nicholas Courtney comments that the past can "come back to haunt you" just as a platoon of Autons appear, shooting out his bodyguards. Getting in his V.I.P. car, Courtney tells the driver to leave at speed, not realising the driver is also an Auton!
