Bruchner and Doland were Professor Sarah Lasky's assistants in 2986.
Bruchner and Doland helped Lasky create the Vervoids. When they got loose on the Hyperion III, Bruchner destroyed Lasky's research, then tried to destroy the Vervoids by plunging the ship into the Black Hole of Tartarus. He was killed by the Vervoids' poison gas. (TV: Terror of the Vervoids)
