The Fifteenth Doctor frequently wore a double-breasted trenchcoat of burnt orange leather complete with pockets and belted cuffs, over the top of his striped zip-up cardigan and plain blue trousers. The Doctor wore this trenchcoat during his first adventure, (PROSE: First Day of the Doctor [+]Paul Lang, Doctor Who The Official Annual 2024 (Penguin Group, 2023). Page 31.) when he contemplated the new things in his life (PROSE: "Heroes of Time" [+]Part of Whotopia: The Ultimate Guide to the Whoniverse, Simon Guerrier, Una McCormack and Jonathan Morris, BBC Books (2023).) and when he was photographed on Earth sometime prior to 5 March 2005. Behind the scenes[]

In the 2023 re-release of An Adventure in Space and Time [+]Mark Gatiss, An Adventure in Space and Time (BBC Two, 2013)., a docudrama that tells the story of the inception of Doctor Who, there is a scene where William Hartnell (played by David Bradley) has a premonition of the Fifteenth Doctor; in this scene, the Doctor is wearing his leather trenchcoat.
