A Greek king set Hercules twelve seemingly impossible tasks. However, Hercules succeeded at each one, up to and including capturing the infernal dog Cerberus and bringing him back to the king. Terrified at the sight, the Greek king ordered Hercules to let Cerberus go. (PROSE: Mythical Monsters)
