Euros Lyn has directed two Doctor Who episodes from Christopher Eccleston's tenure, several episodes during David Tennant's era and the entire third series of Torchwood. He has also directed several episodes of the BBC show Sherlock, which is written entirely by Who writers Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and Steve Thompson. He was born in Wales. He also directed Matt Smith's first scene in the closing minutes of the 2009 Christmas special, The End of Time, following the Tenth Doctor's regeneration into the Eleventh Doctor.
