Red Nose Day 1991[]
Reporting from Africa during Red Nose Day 1991, the explorer described it as "the very heart of darkness" and "a primitive continent languishing on the backwaters of civilisation", and a "barren wasteland", ultimately leading to the embodiment of Africa itself calling this "bollocks" and giving a wealth of information about herself, before the explorer surmising that that was "sort of" what he'd said, before allowing Jonathan Ross and Lenny Henry to continue their part of the show.
