The EmpireState was a tower named after the Empire State Building on Earth. It reached from half a mile underground to the upper part of the atmosphere of the moon on which it was situated. The people who founded it manipulated the moon's orbit: once, it would have taken two years to get round all the six planets in its system; then it just took over a week to do it.
