The Edwardian era (1901-1910) was a time period in United Kingdom history, following directly on from the Victorian era, during the reign of King Edward VII. [source needed]

Among those abducted by the Eternals for the race for Enlightenment were the crew of an Edwardian ship. (TV: Enlightenment)

Charley Pollard described herself as an "Edwardian adventuress." (AUDIO: Terror Firma, AUDIO: Storm Warning)

In 1901, while on an expedition to the ruins of Babylon, time sensitive linguist John Lafayette stumbled across the Path to Babylon, circa 570 B.C. (PROSE: Walking to Babylon)

The Eleventh Doctor recruited Edwardian explorer John Riddell from 1902 to answer a 24th century distress call. (TV: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)

The First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and Susan Foreman visited Zarechny, Siberia in Russia in 1903, where they met Grigori Rasputin. At the time, Nicholas II was the Tsar of Russia. (AUDIO: The Wanderer)

The city of San Francisco on Earth was ravaged by an earthquake and then consumed by fire on 18 April 1906. Thanks to the Seventh Doctor's interference, the gateway through which the creature Azathoth and her rakshassi army hoped to invade Earth opened not in the India of 1887 but in the lobby of the Palace Hotel. Azathoth and her followers were consumed in the fire, while the Doctor, Ace, Benny, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson escaped. The Doctor departed for England to retrieve his TARDIS, materialising in San Francisco mere moments after he left his companions, although the trip to England took three months. Holmes and Watson rejected the Doctor's offer to join him in his travels. He returned them to Baker Street in 1887. (PROSE: All-Consuming Fire)

The energy created by the impact of a meteor in June 1908, which later became known as the Tunguska Event, caused the Great Divide to open in Russia. This allowed some of the Charrl to enter that time period from 22,000. (PROSE: Birthright) The Third Doctor attempted to take Liz Shaw and Jo Grant to witness the meteor impact but the TARDIS instead materialised in St Petersburg in December 1916. (PROSE: The Wages of Sin)

In 1910, the Squall arrived in London. (PROSE: Paradox Lost). Also, during the Mexican civil war, soldiers were abducted by the War Lords, subsequently being returned by the Time Lords. (TV: The War Games)

Two incarnations of the Doctor separately made themselves human and spent some time on Earth as a school teacher. The Seventh Doctor did so in 1914 (PROSE: Human Nature) and the Tenth Doctor in 1913. (TV: Human Nature)
