The Dragon Paths were the equivalent of ley lines in Chinese mythology. They were created by the arrival of the time cabinet in the 1800s, which caused a release of chronon radiation. The radiation followed the telluric currents of the Earth's magnetosphere and formed the Paths. Using piezoelectricity, certain rocks could open the Dragon Paths to allow for instantaneous travel.
