Down With The Director was a 21 comic printed in TV Century 21 across 1965 and 1966.
Athough previous 21 short stories had crossed over with the Doctor Who universe, notably featuring guest appearances by the Daleks, this was first instalment of the character's regular comic strip series to cross over with the Doctor Who universe, namely through the involvement of World President Nikita Bandranaik as a major character in the plot.

Worldbuilding[]
- A Barracuda submarine of the World Navy takes Twenty One and Tina to four miles off the coast of Milford Haven in Wales.
- Great Britain are allowed to join the World Government after the abolition of the Directorship.

- After the conclusion of this comic story, 21 was renamed to 21 Special Agent and upgraded to two pages per issue.
