Doctor Who and the Blue Angel was a book that was cited when the Eighth Doctor speculated that the "Jane Fonda" Iris came from "some other dimension", where her claims about knowing the Doctor (which he didn't corroborate) were in fact true. (PROSE: Bafflement and Devotion)

Behind the scenes[]

Important note[]

This is a in-universe counterpart of the real world BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novel The Blue Angel that exists within the Doctor's universe. It was referenced as a fictional citation in Bafflement and Devotion.

While the title in the real world is simply "The Blue Angel", the title provided in Bafflement and Devotion is a play on the titles of older Target Novelisations, which often placed Doctor Who and the at the beginning of the title.

Additionally, both Paul Magrs and Jeremy Hoad exist in-universe, however no source has mentioned if they were the one to write the novel in-universe.
