Doctor Who Magazine's 1997 issues spanned from issue 247 to issue 259 and were published every four weeks by Panini Comics. However covers were still branded with "Marvel Comics" logo.

For January's issue 247 the cover price of the magazine in the United Kingdom continued to be two pounds ninety five pence (£2.95). With February's issue 248 the price rose to three pounds (£3.00). It remained at this price for the rest of the year.
