A commuter reads an newspaper called Evening News with the headline of "DOC WHO SHOCK".
The turning point in the Yeti Wars was said to be when the Great Intelligence made a brilliant psychological breakthrough; holding torches under the Yeti's chins makes them look really creepy.
One commuter flees from the Yeti in "utter panic".

With this story, Doctor Who? returned to Doctor Who Magazine after a brief hiatus in DWM 217.
The plot of this story references the change in design which made the Yeti appear more scary between their debut in The Abominable Snowmen ^[+]Mervyn Haisman and Henry Lincoln, Doctor Who season 5 (BBC1, 1967). and reappearance in The Web of Fear ^[+]Mervyn Haisman and Henry Lincoln, Doctor Who season 5 (BBC1, 1968).. The setting of the London Underground in this story was also in reference to The Web of Fear.
