- The Fourth Doctor and Romana's appearances in this story allude to the unbroadcast television story Shada, as well as TV: The Five Doctors, which used footage from the former to effectively write them out of the main plot of the story.
- The original version of this story had a completely different text and joke. When this version was eventually printed within It's Even Bigger on the Inside, no explanation could be offered as neither editor, artist or writer could recall why.
- This story marked Romana's sole appearance in a Doctor Who? story.
