On 7 November 1987, Pete Tyler was late to the wedding of Stuart Hoskins and Sarah Clark at St Christopher's Parish Church, having been saved from the car that would have killed him by his time traveling daughter, Rose Tyler. In response to his late arrival, Pete's wife Jackie Tyler frustratedly threatened that there would be a wedding and a divorce on the same day if he was not careful.
