- In 1975, the BBC and the real-life Walt Disney Company coproduced a crossover between Doctor Who and their annual holiday special Disney Time: Disney Time 1975, where the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) introduced various clips from Disney productions.
- Their TV channels, Disney Channel and Disney XD, aired K9 and, in the US, reruns of Doctor Who itself.
- As of 2019, Disney owns 20th Century Studios, the parent of the Fox Broadcasting Company.
