A Dimension Vault was technology of Dalek design.

It appeared to have the lower part of a Dalek battle casing with the top part open, with a single, spear shaped device present. The Vault transported people from one world to another.

The Cybermen stole a dimension vault in the Void and used it to return to Earth but were catapulted backwards in time. The Tenth Doctor offered to use it to relocate the Cybermen to a planet where they could live their mechanical lives in peace. They refused, and he was forced to destroy them. He used the device to send the remains of the CyberKing into the Time Vortex, where it would be disintegrated. (TV: The Next Doctor)
