RealWorld

A dialogue editor, with respect to most BBC Wales DWU shows, is effectively the person in the sound department in charge of Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) and of editing the dialogue sound track together. (CON: Look Who's Talking)

It's not clear from credits alone whether this is the practise on North American DWU productions like Torchwood: Miracle Day, as dialogue editors are not credited there.
