Devon

Devon was a county of England and was the location of the famous Dartmoor moorland.

The Eighth Doctor once saw a Time Agent in Devon in 1624. (PROSE: Sometime Never...)

Home to the Lethbridge Baronets, one half of the family then went on to become the Lethbridge-Stewarts (the other half being the Stewarts in Lanark, Scotland) in the late 1590s. (PROSE: The Forgotten Son)

In November 1929, the Sixth Doctor and Peri Brown visited North Devon. (PROSE: Timeshare)

Polly Wright spent much of her early life in Devon. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)

Devon was home to a secret bunker (codenamed Hope Cove R6) that was originally built in 1952 due to the fear of nuclear war, designed to safeguard officials should war break out. Lance Corporal Sally Wright mentioned it to Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart as a possible destination for the reanimated Staff Sergeant Albert Arnold. (PROSE: The Forgotten Son)

Sally Sparrow's aunt had a house in Devon. In the 1980s, she held Christmas parties there. In 1985, after landing in Sally's aunt's shed, the Doctor's TARDIS "burped", travelling forward in time twenty years. The Doctor left messages around the house for Sally Sparrow explaining this so she could pilot the TARDIS back to him from 2005. (PROSE: What I Did on My Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow)

Vilgreth worked on a farm in Devon in his youth. (AUDIO: Last of the Titans)

One of the sections of Starship UK was called Devon. (TV: The Beast Below)
