Derek Moberley (TV: The Seeds of Doom) — or Moberly (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Seeds of Doom) — was a zoologist who was part of a World Ecology Bureau expedition in Antarctica.
Biography[]
Moberley and his colleague Charles Winlett discovered a Krynoid pod in the permafrost while digging for samples.
After Winlett was infected by the pod, Moberley reluctantly agreed to perform surgery on him to slow down the infection. He was later strangled and killed by the transformed Winlett. (TV: The Seeds of Doom)
