Del Henney (24 July 1935-14 January 2019[1]) played Colonel Archer in the Doctor Who television story Resurrection of the Daleks.
He was also considered for the roles of Rorvik in Warriors' Gate, Lieutenant Scott in Earthshock, Captain Stapley in Time-Flight (TCH 35), Valgard in Terminus, (TCH 37) Commander Vorshak in Warriors of the Deep, (TCH 38) Joseph Willow in The Awakening, Cockerill in Frontios, Orcini in Revelation of the Daleks (TCH 41), both Group Captain Gilmore and George Ratcliffe in Remembrance of the Daleks, (TCH 44), Sabalom Glitz in The Mysterious Planet (TCH 42) and Josiah Samuel Smith in Ghost Light.
He shared his memories of Resurrection of the Daleks on the documentary Casting Far and Wide.
