Legacy[]

In early 2005, following the Dummy Massacre, Steve Woolfall responded to Doctor Who?'s request for sightings of the then missing Rose Tyler, reporting that he had seen a girl that looked like Rose in the Grosvenor Museum in Chester that afternoon with "a chap" that reminded him of "that Casanova bloke". Steve suggested that it might not have been the same girl, but that it was strange nonetheless. In the M.F.S. Scottish Division building in the 925th Universe, after Tetra-None Hepta-Oct didn't anticipate the feedback loop generated by the Data Core when searching for Coloth's friends, the Library, and the Snowstorm on Doctor Know's computer, she apologised by saying "I am so so sorry," also telling him that she didn't mean to go all "David Tennant" on him. Evidently, "David Tennant" was intended to be an in-universe version of the real David Tennant, who portrayed the Tenth Doctor. Although he was not given a clear in-universe illustration during the narrative of WC: Peter Capaldi and Simon the Shy Cyberman Invite You to Breakfast with 7 Doctors, the end of the webcast included a screen featuring photographs of each Doctor who would be present at the event, in-costume as "the Doctor".

Being an actor who portrayed "Doctor Who" in a television programme of the same name, Tennant was brought together, along with many other actors to portray "Doctor Who", for a special breakfast in "London's glittering West End". The Twelfth Doctor, who thought Tennant to be one of the greatest actors on Earth, considered making an appearance, to "see what these fictions [were] like."
