David Collings (4 June 1940-23 March 2020[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: as Vorus in Revenge of the Cybermen, Poul in The Robots of Death, and Mawdryn in Mawdryn Undead.

He also played an alternative incarnation of the Doctor in the Big Finish Productions audio drama Full Fathom Five. Collings returned to his role of Poul, now Paulus, in Magic Bullet Productions' series of Kaldor City audio dramas and Big Finish's audio series The Robots, the latter of which was released after his death. He also read the audiobooks of the novelisation of Scream of the Shalka, Corpse Marker and The Witch Hunters.

He shared his memories of his Doctor Who career on the 209th edition of Big Finish's charitable podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round, the audio commentary for Mawdryn Undead and the documentary The Sandmine Murders.

Outside of Doctor Who, he appeared in eight episodes of the television series Sapphire & Steel as the interdimensional technician Silver, a role he reprised in the Big Finish Productions Sapphire & Steel audio series. He also appeared in the final episode of Blake's 7 as Deva.
