David Sacker, commonly known as Dave, was a police detective operating in London in 1968. Ormond Sacker was his grandfather. Sacker grew up thinking that the adventures of Henry Gordon Jago and Professor George Litefoot recorded in his grandfather's diary were just stories, and that the individuals themselves did not exist. (AUDIO: The Age of Revolution) He didn't care when Jago went missing, but intervened when there was an epidemic of alien frog. (AUDIO: The Case of the Gluttonous Guru) He later asked Litefoot to have an input on the recent murders of some scientists. (AUDIO: The Bloodchild Codex)

When Magnus Greel's mind was later reconstituted by Guinevere Godiva by using a Venusian crystal in 1968, he took possession of Sacker to continue living, which killed Sacker. Greel in Sacker's body died when Ellie Higson stood in the distillation chamber and overloaded the power to Greel's time cabinet. (AUDIO: The Final Act)
