Dave Chapman (born 17 July 1951[1]) had a long career as a visual effects guru during the 1963 version of Doctor Who. He worked on most serials from The Ribos Operation to Survival.
He also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.
Career[]
Chapman began his career in behind-the-scenes technical positions, before first appearing in front of the camera while serving Anneka Rice's sound engineer on Challenge Anneka. His career has continued on both sides of the camera.
