Daleks Face Destruction was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article tied-in to The Daleks comic story Shadow of Humanity with a smaller piece tying-in to the Thunderbirds comic story Solar Danger, a crossover with the DWU.

- A deserted planet far out in space, used only for the dumping of obselete equipment, made "dramatic" news "this morning".
- A live atomic reactor lies in the dumpyard on the planet and a lone scavenger has landed, who is almost certainly in grave and deadly danger. Fireball XL5 is investigating.
