Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
- The Master's Dalek executioners are heard but not seen in the opening sequence of Doctor Who. They would be identified as the Dalek Prelature in the audio story Mastermind.
- The voice of the Dalek executioners was provided by director Geoffrey Sax. (DCOM: Doctor Who)
- An illustration of the Master's execution is depicted in one instalment of the Doctor Who DVD Files feature Flashbacks, published in its sixty-first issue of the magazine. The Dalek executioners are depicted as hovering Imperial Daleks, identical to those originally seen in Remembrance of the Daleks.
- A "prelature" is the office, rank, or authority of a prelate, who is bishop or other high ecclesiastical dignitary.
