Daleks from a dream were created by the Mezcoranis after placing the Eighth Doctor and Molly O'Sullivan in a dream status. At first, the Doctor and Molly believe the Daleks had changed their ways for good, but they were wrong. The Doctor learned that it wasn't real at all. He suddenly remembered the TARDIS and ran to it, but still couldn't open the doors. As he heard the noise again, he realised he had electrodes in his head and managed to remove them.
The Skaro reality melted away and at last he regained consciousness. The Doctor learned that their captors wanted to augment his brain to make him forget all of them. The robots were exterminated by the real Daleks who were following Molly and the Doctor. (AUDIO: Tangled Web)

The Daleks resembled conventional Daleks in shape, size and style, but unlike their counterparts, they were nice, remorseful and they even had to ability to leave their shells. They were heard laughing in the Skarosian gardens whilst playing with the children. (AUDIO: Tangled Web)
